Fall Update 2025

Fall 2025 Update
We are excited to begin a new season of ministy. Fall has been busy with Linda traveling to Guatemala and Ron traveling to Oregon to transport the bus back to North Carolina. We are so thankful for all the prayers and support! The Guatemala trip was a success. We are so blessed to be able to connect with amazing individual on the ground assisting with underserved populations. The earthquake that affected Santa Maria de Jesus has caused long term challenges. Please continue to pray that water will be available to the community and that unrest would settle. This community is dear to our hearts. Please keep the family of Javier and all the fire fighters in prayers. It has been five months since Javier lost his life fighting a forest fire and we are all still grieving this horrific loss. Please be in prayer for Linda as she leads various womens outreach ministry retreats held in the pink house in Georgia in the coming months.
Ron had some adventures with the bus, but thankfully he made it back. A wheel fell off the bus on the interstate in Kansas City, Missouri. Praise God no one was injured in the process. We had put new tires on the bus just a few days before and the tire company did pay to replace the wheel. It did cause a few days delay and there is some side damage to the wheelchair lift, but we think Ron should be ale to fix it. This bus is a blessing to have back so we can use it for the special olympics gymnastics program.
Thank you for everyone who continues to support and pray for our ministry! We could not do it without your love, prayers and contributions. God continues to bless and provide for our ministry all over the world. We are so grateful to be able to serve and are so thankful for all the opportinities God has given us. Haiti: This small but unforgotten country was and will always be where we call home. We continue to serve as missionaries with World Outreach Ministres as well as affiliate members of Mission Flights International. The airport in Port au Prince remains closed due to civil unrest and an FAA ban. As we stated in the last newsletter it is not expected to open until at least March of 2026. Cargo shipments and alternate transport are still $4.25 per pound. Please pray for the stability of Haiti and that the airport will open again soon. Please continue to pray for Leanne and her family as well as Efran. As the family stil cares for the abandoned baby in the streets. We continue to transport food and goods from the village into the city. Linda cotinues to councel individuals via Zoom. We were unable to get seed distrubuted to Port au Prince as we had hoped this fall so please be in continued prayer that we can in the near future make a shipment. Please be in prayer also for the Haiti Police Department as they have some interest in some of our beloved dogs on their task force doing various missions. Keep them in prayer as they locate and train new dogs that help counter the crime in the area.
Guatemala: Linda traveled on a solo misison trip to Guatemala back in August for a week. There she was able to meet with Jaiver's family as they mourn and navigate a new life since his passing. She was also able to bring various supplies and support. Please keep Linda and the Guatamale Special Olympics in your prayers as we navigate potential possibilities in this area both in Haiti and Guatemala. Gymnastics and Special Olympics in the USA: We continue to serve in the community with the gymnastics facility as well as various programs with Special Olympics.
Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and support, we are so thankful for the ministry we get to be a part of! To God be the glory! "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; His love endures forever!" Psalms 118:29
