Merry Christmas 2025

The Sheppard Family December 29, 2025 Merry Christmas everyone! We appreciate all the love, prayers and support for our family and ministry over the years! “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak….. Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” ~Isaiah 40:29, 31
We pray for a renewal of Hope for the coming year. We pray God will give all of us strength to be the best version of ourselves in order to serve the Lord more fully.
Recap of 2025: It has been a year of healing. Linda made two trips to Guatemala. Please keep Javier’s family in prayer since his tragic death.
We continue with various projects in Haiti. Our GSD dogs have been useful with law enforcement. Please keep Haiti in prayer as unrest continues. We have been actively involved with Special Olympics North Carolina with Gymnastics, Cheerleading and the girls also did Golf this year. Grateful we have been able to help with various community projects and provide coaching and facilities. Linda continues to assist individuals with trauma. Ron continues to work in Charlotte as well as be an all around handyman with the various projects.
The Sheppard Shuttle bus in Oregon has been transported to North Carolina for community projects. Please pray for funds to paint, minor bodywork, and repair the wheelchair lift. An exciting upcoming project is the purchase of an amazing property in Georgia. Please pray for permits, funds, and doors opening as we restore a Historic 1700’s home into a Tea House. Our dream is it will be a place of inclusion for individuals with disabilities, provide jobs, contribute to ministry funding, and bring a touch of international elegance to this little town named one of the 10 most Charming Towns that Belong in a Hallmark Movie.
We have begun hosting Retreats at Bear Lodge Cabin to provide support, healing and restoration to those in need. This last year we hosted adoptive parents, missionaries, as well as third culture kids who have experienced trauma. Please pray for guidance and support to continue this much needed ministry.
Upcoming Projects: Haiti Spring Special Olympics project, two Guatemala mission trips, Colombia Gymnastics, Spring Gymnastics/Summer Games for Special Olympics, Restoration of the Tea House, Bodybuilding, many upcoming classes and events at Union County Gymnastics.
We remain active missionaries with World Outreach Ministries. We continue to seek funds to assist in ongoing projects. A big thank you to our ongoing supporters.
